    Volunteers provide home delivered meals for the homebound, handicapped, chronically ill or convalescent persons in the community who are unable to prepare meals in Northern Brookhaven. Food prepared at St. Charles and Mather Hospitals and Port Jefferson Healthcare Facilities. Suffolk: MEALS ON WHEELS: THREE VILLAGE MEALS ON WHEELS, INC. Home-Delivered Meals. Meals For The Elderly provides nutritionally-balanced, home-delivered noontime meals to the homebound, elderly and disabled citizens of Tom Green County and Miles. Meals are typically delivered between a.m. and p.m., Monday through Friday.

    Home delivered meals provide nutritious food to seniors who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disability or frailty. The meal delivery provides a daily safety check for seniors. The program will check on high risk seniors during the event of a storm or emergency situation. The Aging Nutrition program provides meals, socialization, and nutrition education and counseling to adults age 60 and over. These services are provided in + congregate settings (such as senior centers or senior housing), as well as to homebound older adults in all 95 Tennessee for a congregate meal site near you.

This program provides nutritious meals to older persons (60 years and older) who are frail and/or home bound because of illness or incapacitating disability or are otherwise isolated.

Meals may also be delivered to a location other than an individual's home, provided the location is within the provider's service area and is approved by the case worker. Disabled adults between the ages of 18 and 59 who would be at risk without a home delivered meal and/or have difficulty accessing nutritionally balanced meals on a daily basis.
